Instead of the usual white hour indices, the Ghost carries the iconic black and yellow theme from Dievas DNA, and features "floating" hour and minute hands alongside the bright yellow hour markers. A bold and understated design that expands the visual impression of the watch, while retaining its sleek physicality.

For the first time, Dievas incorporated a mix of techniques in the design of the dial markers. In addition to the multi-dial design, a combination sandwich dial work and embossing techniques, the mysterious looking 1000m Ghost boasts an avant garde design on the hour markers. The traditional hour numerals are being replaced by a beautiful base tennis-yellow hour ring, alongside the triangle markers at the cardinal point which fully painted with SuperLuminova. Against the matte black dial, the Dievas Ghost catches your eyes, in light or dark. Oh, did we say the date display in fact matches with the yellow and black theme?

On the exterior, the case is re-engineered to present a slimmer profile. This update from the previous generation allows the watch up to 36% more contact, sitting flatter on the wrist. Together with the slimmer profile, Dievas added curved lugs to allow the watch to flow and wrap around your wrist. The Ghost is made for a better and more comfortable fit. Last but not least, the crown is engraved with the Dievas logo and redesigned for a smoother crown operation.

Made entirely in Germany, the all-new all-black Maya's multi-pieced watch case is fabricated through the CNC process, using the best modern equipment; it is then finished and polished by experienced hands on site. This dedication in production can be clearly seen through its well-defined lines, perfectly finished edges, and beaming lustre. When you hold a professional Dievas watch case in your hand, you can feel its robustness and quality; definitely a cut above the rest. 

The watch case gets a full matte look thanks to its sand-blasted finishing accentuating its professional rugged tool watch look. The clear-cut proportions are an expression of both the strength and power of the case. Complying with the designation of a robust utility watch, the all-new Maya is upgraded with a sturdy, and precise 120-click ceramic timing bezel with 30 sized-grooves for easy manipulation. The bezel insert has a matte black finishing with the same tennis-yellow markers for the first 15 minute marking, matching the matte black dial.  And if you want to have a new look, you can easily change the color of the bezel and customize your look simply by removing the screws on its side. Yes, this all-new collection comes with several bezel options, from vivid, single tone colors to and bi-tone colors, it is that easy to create your own look.

Superluminova glows in the dark

Such a high-caliber case is an essential ingredient in fabricating a strong foundation before undergoing advanced metallurgy treatment. Dievas implemented a sturdy hardening DLC treatment to the manufacturing process. More than a tactical blackout look, the steel undergoes high-tech coating procedures to amplify the hardness of the watchcase to approximately three to four times that of 316L stainless steel. This special coating greatly improves resistance to scratch and provides extra corrosion resistance. This meticulous process is executed to every part of the watch, including its crown and case back.

Overbuilt is further extended to its water-resistant capability. With a thick extra clear Swiss sapphire crystal on top and a robust gasket case back, the watch is water resistant to at least 1000m/3000feet. Each watch is individually tested. It is also equipped with the additional automatic Helium Release Valve (HEV) on the crown side, allowing any serious divers to bring it down with them during saturation diving.

Another significant attribute is that the Dievas Ghost now comes with a sporty black rubber strap that comes with a special tang buckle. The matching matte buckle not only comes signed with the brand's logo, and also been shaped angularly that harmonised with the watch case. Strapping it on, the Ghost wears like a perfect daily beater with its aesthetics on top of its 40.5mm unisex sizing. The quick-release spring-bar design not only can be easily removed, allowing you to throw a different types of straps on it. Those who have worn a Maya case before would know that this strap monster can be a beauty on a wide array of straps.
