Squale Watches, Best Diving Timepieces You’ve Ever Met

Starting in 1946 in Neuchatel, Switzerland, Charles and Helena Von Buren who manufactured cases and watch components for other companies finally registered their own brand ⎯ the Squale ⎯ as a patent to produce dive watches in 1959.

Since then, Squale has continuously spread their reputation and success in the dive watch field. Squale even designed cases and watches water-resistant at 500m for other popular brands. Squale watches received more fame when top divers such as Enzo Maiorca, Maria Treleani, Jacques Mayol wore them to break several world records. While the brand got a lot of exposure, Squale, at the same time, released the ‘Master’, a spectacular 1000m diving watch.

Well, if you are looking for diving timepieces, watches from Squale are definitely your best options to make. Here is the collection of Squales to choose.

1521

Affordable and rich of features is what 1521 collections offer to everyone who enjoys diving to professional divers. The collections have Superluminova on the hands and markers for better legibility and self-winding movement of Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic to keep the accuracy when they are worn underwater. For durability, 1521 collections use 42mm airtight 316L stainless steel as the case.

1545

Looking for a reliable and stylish buddy for diving? The Squale 1545 is the most popular one with its classy ceramic bezel for a premium feel. It also highlights a magnifying glass with 2.5x magnification. A slim watch with only 12.1mm in thickness and 40mm in diameter making it fits under a sleeve. Not to forget, an easy operated watch crown that feels solid. The Squale 1545 is a watch collection that would be best at the pool and beach but still looks fine for a fancy dinner. By that means, it is worth the price.

Matic

As the upgraded version of Squalematic dive watches in the 70s, the Matic collections are claimed to be the most popular collection among the others. Similar to 1521, Squale’s Matic also utilizes the Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic, self-winding movement. To let you see the time clearly at 600 meters depth, this collection has implemented a double-domed Sapphire crystal with anti-reflection treatment.

2002

The amazing 1000m diving timepiece collection is here for you. The Squale 2002 is safe to be worn at 1000m depth of water. It also carries a helium release valve inside as a standard for deep diving tools. Not to forget to mention the Swiss ETA 2824 movement with a 42-hour power reserve that makes it ideal for professional divers.
