In the world of watches, Japanese watchmakers are widely known to excel in integrating modern technologies and meticulous craftsmanship to their watches, proving to be a serious competitor against the Swiss. Since 1950, Orient has been one of the most prominent watchmakers in Japan, producing mechanical in-house movements and high quality watches that pack incredible value. Joining the Seiko Epson group in the early 2000s, Orient continued to strive in producing a wide array of options ranging from divers to dress watches.

Orient in-house caliber F6922 automatic movement |
Further elevating its classy appeal, the watch is equipped with a robust gold-plated bezel which matches nicely with the 2 gold crowns by the side. The rehaut features a 24-marker scale which can be rotated internally with a second crown located at the 4'oclock position. It allows wearers to estimate the time in various regions around the world by rotating the 24-hour display ring until it aligned with the dial's world map as seen from the southern hemisphere. A push-pull crown makes it extremely convenient for adjusting the watch all whilst hoisting a water resistance rating of 200 metres.
The true standout feature is the vibrant world map dial. A nostalgic and distinctive design choice that speaks to Orient's heritage and adventurous spirit. Richly detailed and visually striking, the dial is bound to capture collectors attention with the orange, yellow, white islands and the 2 tone blue ocean. All whilst featuring a day-date window at the 3, "Orient Automatic" at the 12 which is balanced by the "Water Resistance 20Bar" at the 6.
