Orient Mechanical Contemporary Stretto Day/Night Grey - Ltd Ed 2500pcs Ref. RA-AK0311N |
Today, we are excited to introduce a new model in the Orient Mechanical Contemporary line as Orient celebrates its 75th anniversary — the Orient Stretto. The name Stretto is borrowed from the world of music, where it signifies a quickening of tempo that builds toward a climax, making it a fitting tribute to Orient's 75 years of watchmaking excellence. Inspired by the popular Semi Skeleton model, the Orient Stretto features a fresh design theme that captures the dynamic energy of urban landscapes. Among the new releases is the Orient Mechanical Contemporary Stretto Day/Night Grey, a limited edition of just 2,500 pieces.
The newly refined 41.5mm case strikes the perfect balance between presence and wearability, measuring 48mm lug to lug with a 13.7mm profile that rests comfortably on the wrist. Its versatile proportions make it a good presence on wrist, appealing to who appreciate a sporty yet refined timepiece. Crafted from stainless steel with a tasteful mix of brushed surfaces and polished accents, the case embodies timeless sportiness and everyday versatility, while the mirror-polished reverse-R surface on the lugs adds a distinctive shine. Practicality is assured with a push-pull crown positioned at 3 o'clock and water resistance rated to 50m, making it a reliable companion for daily wear.

Grey dial with pointer-day display |
The Orient Mechanical Contemporary Stretto Day/Night Grey stands out with its small pointer-day display and a unique day and night indicator, a feature rarely seen on other watches. Protected by a sapphire crystal, the commemorative sunburst grey dial comes alive with wedge-shaped indices that rise like skyscrapers and concentric circles that echo the elegant curves of modern architecture. Honouring its heritage, the dial bears the original Orient logo from 75 years ago in graceful cursive script. Combining beauty and practicality, the luminescent-coated hands ensure clear readability in the dark, making this timepiece both captivating and functional.
Powering this timepiece is Orient's reliable automatic F6B24 movement, equipped with 22 jewels and running at a beat rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3 Hz. It provides a power reserve of over 40 hours, ensuring dependable performance throughout the day. The screw-down case back not only enhances durability and water resistance but also offers a view of the mechanical movement through its see-through design. Adding a special touch, the case back is inscribed in cursive with "Orient Since 1950 75th Anniversary," and each watch features an individually engraved serial number, emphasizing its exclusivity.
