While not part of Citizen's top-of-the-range "The Citizen" collection, today we introduce the new timepiece, the Citizen Eco-Drive 40 Silver Ref.AQ4060-50A. This watch functions like a high-end dress watch with its sturdy specifications but goes easy on the wallet.

This timepiece is made of 316L stainless steel with high-polished and satin-brushed surfaces, a trademark of Citizen's craftsmanship at this point. Citizen's proprietary Duratect - a hardened coating to help protect the watch from scratches, coats the steel case to showcase the durability and shiny surface of the watch. Moreover, the AQ4060-50A also has a steel bezel for added longevity, a case size of 40mm in diameter, the watch has a thickness of 10.1 mm and a lug-to-lug of 45mm.

The lustrous warm dial of the Citizen uncovers a sunburst silver hue protected by a piece of dual spherical sapphire glass that features a non-reflective coating protects the dial and aids in the dial's legibility in poor lighting conditions. It can be seen as a journey of finer details in the art of delicate Japanese watchmaking, presenting a radial sunray effect that splendidly captures the light in different angles as it emanates from the middle of the dial. Dauphine hands with applied baton indices and a double-baton at 12 and 6'oclock are also used in this artistic timepiece. A date aperture can be found at 3 with a citizen applied logo at the 6'oclock, which makes for a perfect balance.

Being a movement fuelled by natural and even artificial sources of light, no periodical battery replacement is required. Additional features that can benefit the wearer include the perpetual calendar, date display, the date early correction function, and the time difference setting function of the watch. Held in the case with a screw-in caseback signed with Citizen's prestigious eagle crest.
