Without this approach, the hides would simply go to waste. By working with Switzerland's last two vegetable-tanning tanneries, Cervo Volante ensures every strap is made with care and low-impact methods, perfectly complementing Oris's Change for the Better ethos. Now, the collaboration returns for a second chapter with the Oris Big Crown X Cervo Volante, once again combining these iconic watches with Cervo Volante leather. This partnership goes beyond craftsmanship—it celebrates creativity, sustainability, and storytelling, resulting in a collection that is as striking on the wrist as it is meaningful in purpose.

The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a masterclass in blending heritage design with contemporary craftsmanship. Its 40mm stainless steel case, brushed on the surface and polished on the sides, measures 48mm lug to lug and 12mm thick, offering the perfect balance of presence and wearability, while the fluted bezel adds subtle texture and elegance. The watch provides 50m water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a screw-in exhibition caseback with mineral glass, revealing the movement within.

Cervo Volante takes deer hides, a by-product of population control mandated by Swiss environmental authorities, and transforms them into durable, beautifully crafted leather goods. For this collaboration, the hides become a deep mahogany-brown strap with a 20mm lug width, perfectly complementing the Oris Big Crown X Cervo Volante. Each watch also comes with a travel pouch and a card holder made from the same leather, uniting functionality, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
