Carbonsports 7H95 - Sapphire

(1 Review)

The Aristo Carbonsports 7H95 - Sapphire is one interesting watch coming out of the Aristo manufacture. It is a good mix of sportiness, contemporary and nostalgia. Let's get onto the details.

Aristo Carbonsports 7H95 - Sapphire

The Aristo Carbonsports 7H95 - Sapphire is powered by a Swiss Made ETA automatic caliber, ETA2824-2, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 Hertzs) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 40 hours.

The Aristo Carbonsports 7H95 - Sapphire uses carbon fiber for its dial to give it a unique texture and dimension. The dial is kept simple and sticks to the basics. 1-12 bold arabic for highly legible and the use of only black and white on the dial along with the minimal text leads to a refreshing and fuss free dial. Yellow SuperLuminova index with matching hour and minute hands to compliment the sporty carbon fiber dial.

Sexy barrel case in stainless steel with sapphire crystal

Now, to the case. This is where it gets interesting. The case is inspired by sports watches made in the 70s and 80s. Big names like LeJour, Heuer, Omega and etc all have their fair share of barrel case chronographs and divers. The case measures 39mm wide, 47mm lug-to-lug, and 10mm thick. A pretty good size for a sports watch to fit most wrist sizes. The 316L stainless steel case is made up of two parts; the combined mid case and bezel, and the screw down case back. The case is hand finished by satin brushing it on the top and side. What is more, it even comes with a display back for us watch enthusiast to admire the ETA2824-2 at work. As with other Aristo watches, this is also made exclusively for Gnomon with a sapphire crystal.

Display back with Aristo signed

The Aristo Carbonsports comes on mesh bracelet made by Aristo. And we think it is the perfect match to the vintage inspired barrel case. The size-able mesh bracelet is ultra soft and flexible and wraps around the wrist like a glove.

In conclusion, the Aristo Carbonsports is quite a watch if you are looking for something sporty, classy and with a hint of nostalgia. We especially love the barrel case and not to mention the CF dial. We love the size and we love the looks. Not to mention the affordable price for such a fine German made sports watch.
