Yema, a name coined by Henry Louis Belmont during a school contest in his teenage years, has grown into a celebrated watchmaker over its 72-year history. Graduating at the top of his class from the National Watchmaking School of Besançon, Belmont went on to create exceptional timepieces, including the historic Yema Spationaute, worn by astronaut Jean-Loup Chrétien in space. Today, Yema continues its legacy of precision and innovation as the Official Timekeeper of the Alpine Elf Cup Series, proudly presenting the Rallygraf chronographs. This latest edition reimagines the design by moving the outer tachymeter bezel into the dial as an internal ring, creating a sleeker, more integrated aesthetic that perfectly balances heritage and modernity.
Since its debut in 1955, Alpine has embodied boldness, performance, and French elegance, inspiring motorsport enthusiasts worldwide. The legendary A110 has become both a symbol of racing excellence and a hallmark of French automotive design. That legacy continues through the ALPINE ELF CUP SERIES, where seasoned drivers and emerging talents compete across Europe's most scenic circuits in a pure, adrenaline-fueled racing environment. As Official Timekeeper, Yema is present at every pivotal moment, ensuring precision while celebrating the passion and spirit that define this championship.

The new-generation Rallygraf features a completely redesigned 39mm steel case with a lug-to-lug measurement of 47mm and a thickness of 10.2mm. By removing the tachymeter bezel, the case is 0.8mm thinner, resulting in a cleaner, more streamlined profile. Without the raised external bezel, the mid-case flows seamlessly into the crystal, creating a sense of continuity and a slimmer, more refined silhouette. This design shift directs attention toward the dial and crystal, enhancing the watch's overall elegance and wrist presence. The 316L stainless steel case combines finely brushed surfaces with polished accents, creating a dynamic interplay of light that highlights its elegant contours. Complementing the updated case, the push-pull crown and chronograph pushers have also been fully redesigned, giving the Rallygraf a distinctive new character.
By relocating the traditional tachymeter from the external bezel to an internal chapter ring, the dial opening appears noticeably larger, creating a more expansive and immersive view. This design improves legibility while giving the Rallygraf a refined and elegant presence, naturally drawing attention to the dial's details and layout. The black and white tachymeter is accented with a subtle touch of Alpine blue, adding a modern and dynamic flair.

The iconic French Rallygraf chronograph preserves its signature scratch-resistant double-domed K1 mineral crystal, whose curved profile softens the case lines while creating subtle distortions at the edges. Viewed from certain angles, the internal tachymeter chapter ring appears slightly magnified, adding depth, dynamism, and visual intrigue that enhances the watch's racing-instrument character. The hour and minute sub-registers, inspired by vintage race car dashboards, are instantly recognisable and feature a striking reverse-panda contrast against the main dial, combining legibility with classic motorsport style.
This thoughtful layout ensures each counter is legible at a glance while adding depth and sporty elegance to the dial. The date window at six o'clock balances the Alpine Elf Cup Series logo at twelve, reinforcing the watch's racing heritage. The hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova BGW9, providing excellent readability in the dark. A subtle Alpine blue tip on the central second hand aligns with the tachymeter scale, while the opposite end features the Alpine "A" logo, offering a distinctive signature that underscores the watch's special edition status.
The Seiko VK64 hybrid movement combines quartz precision for the timekeeping functions with a mechanical module controlling the chronograph, resulting in a smooth sweeping motion of the second hand. The caseback features the iconic car logo, meticulously stamped under high-pressure using a hydraulic press to achieve impressive depth and definition. This emblem is enhanced with a refined blend of polished and brushed surfaces, creating a striking contrast that highlights its presence. The watch also offers 100 metres of water resistance, ensuring durability for everyday wear.

The unique 20mm Rally steel bracelet perfectly completes the Rallygraf Alpine Elf Cup Series, projecting a bold aesthetic that captures the raw elegance of vintage motorsport. Designed specifically for this special edition, the bracelet features a distinctive perforated pattern inspired by classic racing gloves. Fully crafted from brushed stainless steel, it combines sporty flair with neo-vintage charm, harmonising seamlessly with the chronograph's racing heritage. The bracelet tapers gently toward the integrated folding clasp, which includes a safety catch, ensuring both a secure fit and refined wrist presence for maximum comfort.
More than mere timekeepers, the Rallygraf chronographs are a celebration of speed, passion, and French racing heritage. With its redesigned internal tachymeter ring, the watch offers a sleeker, more integrated aesthetic while enhancing legibility and focus on the dial's intricate details. This thoughtful evolution pays homage to Yema's rich history while embracing modern refinements, perfectly aligning with the spirit of the Alpine Elf Cup Series. As the Official Timekeeper, Yema captures every decisive moment on the track, and through this partnership, the Rallygraf becomes more than a chronograph — it is a precise, spirited, and enduring tribute to motorsport excellence and the thrill of competition.
