Faithful to Squale's uncompromising diving heritage, the Matic-S reimagines the signature strength of the Matic line in a slimmer, more versatile form. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, the case showcases a harmonious mix of symmetrical brushing and polished accents. Its dimensions have been thoughtfully refined, with the diameter reduced from 44mm to a wearable 37.8mm, paired with a 47mm lug-to-lug length and a thickness of 13.2mm—bringing professional-grade performance into a compact profile.

For enhanced symmetry and a cleaner aesthetic, the screw-down crown now sits at 3 o'clock, while the solid screw-in caseback secures an impressive 600 meters of water resistance, affirming its status as a true professional dive instrument. Completing the look is a unidirectional steel bezel insert, with markers generously coated in Super-LumiNova for excellent legibility in all conditions.

The 37.8mm case balances function and everyday wear

Topping the Matic-S is a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, offering a crystal-clear view of the dial from every angle. Its classic black sunray finish shimmers softly, evoking a calm yet ever-ready colour. The hour markers have been thoughtfully updated for sharper legibility, while gold and subtle orange accents along the inner rehaut minute track, hand, indices and bezel add a sporty yet luxurious touch. Super-LumiNova is generously applied to the hands and indices for exceptional readability in any light, complemented by a date window at 3 o'clock for practical everyday use. The Matic-S comes fitted with a black 19mm Tropic-style rubber strap, featuring an innovative mosaic texture that balances durability with style, paired with a sturdy steel buckle for secure, comfortable wear.
