Japan is known for many things, perhaps one of the most widely recognised for its technological innovations. In the world of watches, Japanese watchmakers are widely known to excel in integrating modern technologies and meticulous craftsmanship to their watches, proving to be a serious competitor against the Swiss. Since 1950, Orient has been one of the most prominent watchmakers in Japan, producing mechanical in-house movements and high quality watches that pack incredible value. Joining the Seiko Epson group in the early 2000s, Orient continued to strive in producing a wide array of options ranging from divers to dress watches.
Orient presence in the watch industry today remains ever present, offering great watches at fantastic price points. Distinguished by the beautifully finished movements and refined designs, Orient focuses primarily on four main categories: Classic, Revival, Sports and Contemporary, each having their own unique design element and characteristics.
