Over this foundation lies UltraWerk™, a proprietary surface technology developed by Dievas to reinforce and preserve the metal's integrity. Applied as a transparent layer integrated into the titanium matrix, it enhances both scratch resistance and corrosion protection without affecting the natural tone or tactile quality of the surface. The treatment increases hardness significantly, creating a finish that maintains its crisp geometry and fine grain through years of use. The bezel is where Dievas makes its boldest statement. Fashioned from crystallised titanium, each piece is subjected to controlled heat and oxidation, producing a crystalline lattice unique to every component. Unlike conventional satin or brushed finishes, the treatment transforms the titanium's microstructure, yielding a surface that refracts light like frosted metal and offers enhanced hardness and abrasion resistance. The result is not merely decorative—it is a technical finish that combines durability with spectacle.

On this foundation, the numerals are individually engraved by hand, a process demanding absolute precision since any error renders the insert unusable. The engravings are then filled with luminous compound, ensuring functional legibility against the textured backdrop. Thirty distinct grooves along the rim deliver a secure grip, while the bezel itself advances through one hundred and twenty crisp clicks, registering with the mechanical authority of a rifle bolt. Because no two crystalline patterns are alike, every Arctic bezel is singular—a frozen fingerprint that underscores the sculptural interplay between the bezel and the metal case.

Ultrawerk™ titanium

The dial continues this singularity. Arctic blue, crystallised titanium again, shimmering and shifting, never the same twice under light. The crystalline texture further scatters and reflects light in unusual ways, giving the whole aesthetic a dynamic and striking appearance. At 12, 3, 6, and 9, Dievas' proprietary font glows orange against oblong green hour markers. The lume choreography is deliberate with orange numerals, green markers, and blue hands. The rehaut is lumed as well, forming a glowing perimeter in low light, while the outer minute track keeps precise order. Even the date between 4 and 5 is custom, its typography aligned so tightly to the design it feels inseparable from it.

Powering the watch is the Sellita SW200-1, a movement chosen less for prestige than for its proven reliability. Beating at a frequency of 28800 vibrations per hour, it employs 26 jewels to reduce friction across its gear train and delivers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. The SW200-1 supports both hacking seconds and manual winding, features that underline its functional practicality. More importantly, it is a calibre that can be serviced almost anywhere in the world, from a field workshop with modest tools to the polished benches of a Swiss atelier, making it a movement defined by accessibility as much as by endurance.

Multicolour Superluminova

The case architecture complements this philosophy of robustness. The crown is positioned at 8 o'clock in true destro configuration, designed to stay clear of the wrist's natural range of motion yet remain easily accessible when adjustment is required. Over the dial sits a flat sapphire crystal manufactured in Switzerland, treated internally with anti-reflective coating. The effect is optical invisibility. The glass disappears entirely, leaving the dial as the sole point of focus.

The new Arctic debuts with an all-new metal bracelet, marking the first time the model is offered on a full UltraWerk™ titanium option. Built to the same standards as the case, the bracelet features similar microblasted surfaces that echo the watch's overall finishing. Each solid link is secured with screw pins for easy sizing, and the construction enhances the Vortex's already robust build.

Extendable clasp allows on-the-fly adjustment

A newly designed extendable clasp ensures comfort and security on the wrist, making the watch a capable daily companion while maintaining the versatility of its 39.5 mm unisex dimensions. With quick-release spring bars, the 20 mm bracelet can be effortlessly swapped out, allowing endless combinations with fabric, rubber, or leather straps. Staying true to Dievas tradition, the Arctic continues to be a true "strap monster" — equally at home in the field or on the street.
