Vintage 41 Automatic 3H190 - Sapphire

When we think German, we think precision engineering and quality. And this is exactly what we have here today from Aristo. Aristo was founded in 1907 by Julius Epple in Pforzheim, jewelry and watch making city in black forrest, Germany. The company has been producing timepieces for the last three generations.

Aristo Vintage 41 Automatic 3H190 - Sapphire

The watch hits a very comfortable sweet spot with a 41mm diameter, a short 48mm lug-to-lug, an 11.2mm thickness, and a versatile 20mm lug width. The 316L stainless steel case gets a full sandblasted treatment, capturing a perfect vintage military vibe that is clean, low-key, and rugged. Even better? There's a display back, allowing us watch geeks to flip it over and watch the ETA 2824-2 caliber do its thing. Because the lugs are kept short, it wears incredibly well on a wide variety of wrists. Love it or hate it, it is well executed and offers a unique proposition.

Compared to other rugged, strictly military watches, this piece brings a more understated, gentlemanly aviation spirit to the wrist. A big part of that charm comes from the refined fluted bezel—a classic style used by pilots for decades, featuring a count-up and count-down function with a distinct red marker at 12 o'clock to help them quickly track elapsed times. At the 3 o'clock position, you'll find a classic push-pull onion crown, helping to provide a practical 50m of water resistance.

Made In Germany

The Aristo Vintage is clearly inspired by pilot watches from the '60s, which means it was designed with clean legibility and a touch of elegance in mind. The dial keeps things simple and sticks to the basics: bold Arabic numerals for the hour markers and a gorgeous set of cathedral hands that instantly capture that vintage era. The classic matte black dial is a timeless choice that you just can't go wrong with on a pilot watch—it's highly refreshing and completely fuss-free. Let's just say, we absolutely LOVE it. Topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a healthy dose of SuperLumiNova on the hands for great low-light visibility, everything is perfectly balanced. With the signature Aristo logo at the top, "Automatic" text at 6, and a practical date window at 3, the dial layout is beautifully spaced out and incredibly easy to read.

The Aristo Vintage 41 is powered by a Swiss Made ETA automatic caliber, ETA2824-2, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 Hertzs) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 40 hours.

It's paired with a vintage brown leather strap featuring a versatile 20mm lug width and a clean steel buckle. The strap showcases delicate matching stitching, adding a lovely touch of refined craftsmanship that perfectly complements the watch's old-school glamour.

The Aristo Vintage 3H190 hits all the right notes for collectors who love the look of a historic timepiece. If you're a pilot watch lover, this is one you definitely won't want to miss, offering the classic style you crave alongside the worry-free reliability of a brand-new watch. Powering it all is a classic ETA movement, which is a massive part of Swiss horological history itself. Combined with its sweet-spot case dimensions, this is an excellent, versatile daily wearer that fits beautifully on a wide variety of wrist sizes.
