When it comes to steadfast military performance, the French Navy has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, being among the largest and most powerful naval forces in the world. In an effort to create a military-grade timepiece fit for military professionals that could handle the any situation, YEMA designed the Navygraf diver series intended for to take on any physical task with ease.

Drawing inspiration from 70s vintage Navygraf models, the Yema Navygraf Barracuda retains its distinctive case design seen throughout the Navygraf line up. The 39mm 316L stainless steel case is a textbook exercise in proportion, combining brushed surfaces with polished chamfers to create visual depth and technical finesse. For this edition, the legendary Navygraf case has been slimmed down to an extreme 9.75mm, a feat made possible only by YEMA's proprietary Manufacture micro-rotor calibre CMM.20, a compact automatic movement engineered for efficiency without sacrificing reliability. Despite the ultra-thin profile, the watch maintains a comfortable 46mm lug to lug, ensuring wrist presence without bulk. A polished screw-down crown, stamped with the YEMA logo and protected by an integrated crown guard, completes the ensemble, marrying functional robustness with horological elegance in true enthusiast fashion.
The black dial crafted from forged carbon delivers far more than an aesthetic statement. Created by compressing carbon fibers under high pressure, the material produces randomized patterns that render every individual timepiece a singular creation. Raised hour markers styled in the iconic Navygraf II design feature a polished white finish that catches the light alongside the matching hour hands, while the minute hand is outlined in matte red to draw immediate focus during operational timing. A finely printed white minute track encircles the perimeter for precise readouts, complemented by Grade A SuperLumiNova across the hands, markers, and bezel that emits a razor-sharp white glow in low light conditions. Completing the display, the "BARRACUDA" inscription stands out at 6 o'clock in bright red, providing a striking contrast against the tactical forged carbon backdrop while echoing the color coding of onboard military instruments.

Matching the organic texture of the dial, the unidirectional forged carbon bezel reinforces the aggressive military profile of the timepiece. The case is topped by a high clarity double domed sapphire crystal that enhances legibility across all angles. The caseback serves as a direct tribute to French naval crews, equipped with a striking red tinted sapphire crystal that mimics combat sub surface lighting conditions. Highlighted by the engraved inscription "FORCES SOUS MARINES" and the French Navy Submarine Forces crest, the caseback displays the proprietary micro rotor CMM.20 engine. Delivering dependable 300m water resistance, this watch balances military heritage with state of the art French engineering.
Here comes the pièce de résistance of the timepiece: the extraordinary Manufacture micro-rotor calibre CMM.20. Engineered with a clever Franco-Swiss architecture and high-quality components, this movement delivers impressive performance while maintaining a remarkably slim profile of just 3.70 mm. Its innovative design allows for efficient winding and powers a 70-hour reserve, beating steadily at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). With 33 jewels and a daily accuracy rate of -3/+7 seconds, the CMM.20 combines precision, elegance, and technical ingenuity, making it the beating heart of this exceptional watch.

This strap remains completely lightweight on the wrist while offering uncompromising strength against wear and tear. Anchoring the band is a custom brushed steel buckle stamped with the signature YEMA crest, ensuring both functional security and refined tool watch styling.
Overall, the Navygraf Barracuda stands as a triumphant presentation that echoes the connection between military identity and the quiet atmosphere of the oceanic depths. It represents a rare gem for devoted horology enthusiasts, harmonizing technical engineering precision with true military specifications. Its slim yet rugged 39mm case, paired with the captivating forged carbon dial and the innovative manufacture micro rotor caliber CMM.20, delivers professional dive reliability in an exceptionally wearable footprint.
