Continuing this celebrated lineage, the new Mechanical Classic Style 36mm introduces a thoughtfully resized 36.4mm case tailored for modern preferences. Designed to impress collectors who appreciate classic wrist presence, this release combines historical design cues with contemporary finishing. The result is a sophisticated timepiece with timeless appeal, perfectly balanced for both formal wear and everyday use.

Off the bat, a high level of detail is reflected in the tastefully finished case of the Orient Mechanical Classic. Rendered entirely in rich gold plating over a solid stainless steel base, the case highlights smooth polished surfaces and a sharp bevelled chamfer running seamlessly along the full length of the lugs to deliver an elevated, sophisticated wrist presence.

This high polish finish contrasts especially well with the satin brushed finish along the side of the case. With a refined case diameter measuring 36.4mm, a height of 12.3mm, and a lug to lug distance of 42.2mm, it offers a more compact alternative to the larger 38.4mm model. Moreover, the lugs curve downwards gently, allowing the watch to hug the wrist comfortably. Designed for seamless daily wear, the watch features a practical push pull crown and water resistance to 30m / 3 bar, making it a reliable and elegant companion for everyday life.

The centerpiece of this Orient is, without a doubt, its magnificent dial. Beneath the domed crystal lies an iconic white dial that exudes timeless elegance. The dial features a classic pie-pan geometry, curving elegantly toward the edges to create a sense of vintage depth. Polished applied indices and faceted hands  in gold catch the light with every movement, while a minimalist minute track along the rehaut anchors the design.

Protected by the exhibition caseback lies, the Orient in-house caliber F6524 automatic movement, featuring a substantial power reserve of 40 hours. This 22-jewel movement has a 3 Hz beat rate of 21,600 beats per hour. The Caliber F6524 also holds hand-winding and hacking capabilities.

The Orient Mechanical Classic & Simple Style 36  comes on a 18mm crocodile textured leather strap that has a smooth surface and brown stitching, complimenting vintage dressy aesthetic of the case. The strap is fitted with an ever reliable Orient signed buckle to strap the watch securely on the wrist. A practical quick release mechanism allows for effortless strap changes without requiring specialized tools, enabling enthusiasts to customize their look in seconds.
