Aristo decided to skip the date window to keep the dial perfectly symmetrical, leaving just the text "AUTOMATIC" and "AS 2072" at the 6 o'clock mark—a nice, understated reminder of the vintage movement ticking inside.

Now, to the case. The watch measures at a good size of 40mm, a lug-to-lug size of 47mm, a thickness of 11mm and a lug width of a whopping 20mm. The stainless steel case is made up of two parts; the combined mid case and bezel, and the screw down case back. Overall, the case finishing is fully brushed finishing for a utilitarian looks. What is more, it even comes with a display back for us watch enthusiast to admire the legendary AS 2072 at work. The size of the case coupled with the short lug-to-lug dimension makes this a great fit on all wrist sizes.
