For a watch that sits in-between on the dressier side, Seiko nailed the dimensions perfectly with a case diameter of 40.5mm, a lug-to-lug distance of 47.5mm and case thickness of only 11.8mm. On the SARY239, finishing is carried out meticulously to a high level of detail, presenting a polished mirror finish around the bezel and throughout the case. Fit with a Seiko embossed crown and calf skin leather strap, SARY239 gives off a refined vintage appeal, like a classy event filled with cocktails.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of the watch that sets itself apart from other Presage models lies the dial of the SARY239 protected by a domed Hardlex crystal. The dial brings forth a gradient from navy to purple with reddish hues to expressing the setting sun. Even though most focus is drawn on this breathtaking dial, the dial remains extremely legible with its highly polished sword-style hands and sharp pointed. The SARY239 is powered by Seiko's automatic calibre, 4R35, operating at 21,600 BPH (3 Hertz) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 23 jewels with a power reserve of 40 hours. As a trademark of SEIKO’s craftsmanship, this movement features carefully finished gold-plated rotor seen through the see-through display case back.
