The new Alpina Seastrong Diver 300 Umber Automatic Ref. AL-525LBBR4V4 bears a nice metallic bronze color case then pairs it with a tobacco brown bezel to keep things subtle. While at a glance it does fall in the “dressier” dive watch range, it is a professional diving watch with a cushion shaped 44mm stainless steel case that can manage depths of up to 300m/1000ft.
The design privileges optimal dive time readability and stands out through its essential and functional beauty, which transforms this timepiece into a beautiful masculine object even outside the water. The design codes of this new range derived from the Alpina diver watches from the last century, which had equally strong design statements in functional simplicity. The triangle at 12h is a wink to the legendary triangle logo of the Brand.

The main feature of the new Seastrong Diver 300 includes the treated bronze colored case. It is done so for a particular reason. While many watch enthusiasts are into the bronze watch craze due to its copper-ish finishing, not all wants to have it turned to a dull matte brown color. Therefore, in this case, Alpina does it in a way that watch-lovers can always keep the shiny glamour of bronze color. Alpina does not just stop there, they have implemented their high-end finishings, to have brushed and polished surfaces throughout the watch in an exceptionally well mannered, while being ritzy, it does feel like a professional diver through and through.
True to its DNA, it comes with their screw-in crown with small knurling for better grip, and a screw-down case-back, as well as a unidirectional rotating 60min diving bezel in dark brown color that gives it a vintage feel. The bezel has raised markers in cream color on every hour, an additional element that will satisfy watch-lovers who admire every bit of detail on his or her timepiece.
