It rotates buttery smooth into 120 positions and has little to no free play in a clockwise direction. Sitting atop of the bezel is Seiko's Hardlex.

Other than the "PADI" logo on the dial, the "waves" pattern dial is yet another highlight of the watch. it elevates the SRPB99J1, giving it a unique texture and looks. The matte black dial provides great contrast and gives it great depth with this wave pattern. The hour markers and hands are both generously coated with Seiko's LumiBrite allowing it to glow brightly in the dark for hours.
