The Prospex Diver Scuba is powered by Seiko's solar caliber V147. Therefore, once it is fully charged, the watch would have a 10 month power reserve and an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. This timepiece contains an overcharge prevention function as well as a quick-start function for easy usage. 

The stainless-steel case has a thickness of 10.7mm, a diameter of 42.8mm, and a lug-to-lug measurement of 49.2mm. With a height of only 10.7mm, the watch wears slim and versatile on the wrist, where most can enjoy. The distance between lugs is 20mm, making the whole watch proportionate and well. Mixture of satin brush and Seiko high polishing on the sides can be seen on the whole watch, giving it a somewhat premium feel. Finishing off with both screw-down crown and screw case back, the watch now has a water resistance of 200 meters.

The 120-click rotating black bezel guarantee both high legibility and rigidity, with essential minute markings in contrasting white tone. Additionally, the sober matte black dial under the sapphire crystal are equally legible with a date display. The impeccable hour markers and hands are both generously coated with Seiko's LumiBrite allowing it to glow brightly in the dark for hours. The second hand is done in striking red which freshens up the sober dive watch look.

Also, the 20mm stainless steel band has a three-fold clasp with secure lock as well as a  push button release with extender, and it completes the whole dive watch package for the wearer.
