Black ceramic 3D bezel |
The bezel on the Ocean is where it all matters and a first we have ever seen. The Ocean 1 Black DLC MOP has a unique 3D ceramic bezel. What this means is that the numbers and markers are protruding while the background is recessed. When you run your fingers over it, you can actually feel the depth! With a luminous pip at the 12 o'clock position. The knurling on the side of the bezel is deep and clean. This helps in getting a good grip on the bezel for easy bezel operation. The 120 clicks bezel clicks positively into position.
The dial on the Ocean DLC is a matching black with applied markers. The dial is made from mother-of-pearl and is beautiful. SuperLuminova luminous is applied to the markers, minute, hour and second hands.
