Although it had its overall design modernized, the W10’s fundamentals mirror closely to the Dirty Dozen. The re-edition in 2019, the Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Mechanical, was initially launched in a historically-relevant black edition. Similar to the original watch it reproduces, this modern rendition on the W10 preserves the typically 1970s pilot-shaped case, with integrated lugs and a slightly recessed crown in the caseband.
