The Squale Squalematic 60 ATMOS watch is a remake of the original Squalematic Diver from the 70s.
Time and tide wait for no man, but time always stands still for everlasting creation marvel. Here is a true story for us watch enthusiasts; 60 years gone by, the Squale Master Divers of the 60s stayed in their collection until now, all in slightly different variations while retaining the indispensable case/ bezel look with crazy water-resistant above the usual 200m. Squale through the recent years elaborated the dive watch from the traditional 50 Atmos polished ones to the up-sized 44m, 600m ref. 6045 series. Well, this year, Squale have up their ante with a crisp decision with their latest novelty. Behold, the limited to 150 pieces, Squale 60 Atmos T-183 Carbon Blue Limited Edition.

Multi-layered Carbon fiber + Fiberglass case material
Onto the matte black dial underneath the flat sapphire crystal. The applied markers painted with blue-colored markers are compeer to its case and glows a cool blue in the dark, which is refreshing to watch. Further, a new set of hands complies with the same matching Super-luminova color with its marker, where the hour and minute hands are done so in a “ladder” format, finishing up with an arrow-shaped second hand. The only usual suspects keep things the “Squale” way by having its emblem double-signed on the top and bottom of the dial, with matching date-wheel displayed at the 3 o’clock position.
Powering the T183 is a Sellita SW200 automatic in Elaboré grade. Merely a quick note: the 25.6mm movement has 26 jewels count that beats at 28800bph (4Hz), allowing quick date and time setting with a power reserve of around 38 hours.

The T183 comes with a matching Italian-made black micro-fiber strap with full blue stitching. The strap material is innovative water and wear-resistant kind with exciting texture on its surface that seems all so fitting.
In all, limited to 150 pieces, the Squale T183 looks darn cool, and they have done a great job of producing an innovative carbon addition to their all-time classic line. The layered carbon fiber with a blue glass fiber case appears and feels fantastic when held upon. That said, the T183 is executed nicely at an incredible price point and a great addition to their classic line of vintage-inspired divers.
