The most significant addition to the 20 ATMOS BlueRay Ceramic is of course the new bezel insert. It is a unique color while we are at it. It has the glossiness like found on porcelain vase, while still being highly scratch-resistant.

The ceramic bezel is first cut into shape and than the numbers are carefully engraved by machines made specially for this purpose. Next, the engraved ceramic bezel is super heated to 1500 degrees to harden and purify the ceramic. The engraved numerals on the hardened bezel is than carefully filled with white enamel. The excess on the surface of the bezel is than polished to a high gloss leaving only the numerals filled permanently. Virtually indestructible and impervious to scratches, the ceramic bezel will last for years to come

The Squale 20 ATMOS BlueRay Ceramic is powered by ETA's automatic caliber, ETA2824-2/SW200, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 Hertzs) with hacking and hand winding capabilities. It has 25 jewels with a power reserve of 42 hours.
The 200m water resistant stainless steel case measure 40mm case without the crown, has a lug to lug length of 48mm, and a thickness of about 13mm, with a lug width of 20mm.

The nicely curved-down lugs makes that the watch sits nicely on all wrist sizes. Further, the crown system has also been improved from the previous generation with deeper grooves on the crown for a better grip and also a more substantial screw threads for a more positive screwdown action.

The bezel has deep grooves machined into it for a good grip. It rotates smoothly into 120 positions in a counter-clockwise direction. Further refinement on it's case, mixture of satin brush on the top surfaces and polishing on the sides, can be seen throughout the watch including the bracelet.

Additional highlight of Squale 20 ATMOS BlueRay Ceramic is probably the iconic dial design. The blue sunburst dial, where it dances with different lightings depending on the environment, goes from a light oceanic color to a deep ocean dark blue, contributed by the sunburst finishing.
