The new Alpha movement is given a traditional Glashütte finishing and done completely in-house by NOMOS. Ratchet and crown wheels with Glashütte sunburst decoration. Rhodium plated movement surfaces with Glashütte ribbing and Langeleist perlage. Coupled with flame blued flat-head screws used throughout the movement, the quality is top Glashütte quality.
Beautiful silver plated dial with roman numerals hour markings. The dial contains an off-center subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is first sand blasted with great care, then bathed in silver to give them their typical delicate coloring. The baton hands are made of polished steel and then flame blued.
The watch case is made of stainless steel. The steel alloy is free of nickel release. The round case consists of bezel, caseband, and Sapphire Display back. Although the bezel is particularly fine and narrow, the watches are nevertheless water-resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). The strap lugs are very robust as the caseband and lugs are crafted from a single piece. The case back is decorated on the interior with circular graining (perlage).
The nicely shaped lugs conform to your wrist, ensuring a comfortable wear.
