The Aquamatic C.O.S.C Chronometer was specially developed for diving and harsh sporting activities. The high quality steel casing is waterproof down to 3300ft/1000m depths and additionally screwed sapphire glass with 4 mm thickness, helium valve, and screwed crown. The diving ring is set to counter clock direction due to safety reasons.

The helium valve is especially designed for professional divers. Helium atoms are so small that they can make a pressure by penetrating through the seals of the watch. This does not lead to a problem provided that the helium atoms immediately manage to go out in a pressure formed outside, and this is easily possible with Aquamatic. Another safety of the watch is the bezel that is set to the counter clock direction.

The mechanical Schaumburg modified automatic movement is shockproof and so it is in conformity with the highest safety standards. The assembly of the mechanism is carried out under heat. This means is that the pre-assembled watch mechanism and casing are heated in furnace and being assembled fast. Therefore, any humidity in the watch can be avoided. The quadrants and watch-hands are equipped with non-reflective colors and very radiant superluminova markers. All Aquamatic models are dispatched with a buffalo leather watchband of 24 mm and additional Silicon watchband.
