The George J von Burg Collectors Collection was designed for those persons who enjoys wearing and owning a speciality timepiece. Three models have been created, each one produced with a special added mechanical complication, enhancing and adding extra features to an already unique mechanical movement. All three models are limited to only 50 pieces each.

The George J von Burg - The Roman Rattrapante ( Ref. 70021C ) is powered by a George J von Burg modified and decorated Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. The movement is modified with the added complication of having the ability to measure split seconds or timing simultaneous events. This is achieveable by using an auxiliary 'Rattrapante' second hand. With the addition of this second hand, it significantly increases the spectrum of potential uses of this chronograph timepiece.

The dial is inspired by the architectural archievements of the Roman Empire, The Roman Rattrapante has a beautifully engraved Guiloche dial incorporating four sub dials with their own engraved pattern.

The stainless steel case is made to a very high standard. The two tier bezel is high polished while the sides are satin brushed. The large George J von Burg signed crown makes operation of the watch easy. The sapphire crystal is anti reflective coated. The display back allows the owner to appretiate the movement at work.

Watch comes with a black crocodile leather strap with George J von Burg signed buckle. Watch comes with a watch winder to make sure your watch is running everytime you are ready to wear it.
