Dievas Avant Garde Vintage 6152 'Black Diamond'(AGV 6152BD) is the latest addition to the Dievas range of mechanical watches.
Dievas AGV 6152BD is conceptualized from high tech watch manufacturing and finishing. Limited to only 88 pieces worldwide, Dievas AGV 6152BD is highly sought after by collectors and gives a new meaning to the word Limited Edition. Each watch is individually engraved on the caseback with its unique serial number by our watchmaker after the completion of each and every watch.
The case, tube, lugs, screws and buckle are treated by Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition(PACVD) with a new material, Diamond Like Carbon(DLC). This special treatment is done specially for Dievas by a German company who specialize in the treatment for Formula One cars. Unlike the PACVD-DLC coating used on the Dievas AGP, this particular found on the AGV 6152BD is has a slightly different patent and molecular compound, thus adding a different shade to its appearance. This technology brings its hardness to a new level.
The PACVD-DLC treated Dievas AGV 6152 has a hardness of 2700 Vickers (tested according to the ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 Standards) which is about 18 times the hardness of 316L stainless steel of 140 Vickers. Included with each watch is a hardness report with ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 certification.
And a first for Dievas is the TiNite treated crown and caseback. TiNite is approved by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and used for precision medical equipment, The material is extremely tough, highly resistant to tarnish and discoloring. TiNite is the perfect material for the caseback which has the most contact with the owner.
The sandwich black dial and gold hands against white SuperLuminova paint is simple and utilitarian. And a sweeping gold second hand at 9 o'clock slowly ticks away.
Dievas AGV 6152BD is powered by a Swiss Made Unitas 6497 mechanical movement. Which is timed, regulated and recorded on the timing accuracy card that is included.
The 47mm PACVD-DLC treated case is micro-blasted to matte the surface giving it a gun-metal grey finishing. Screw-in lug pins enable easy strap change. The high domed sapphire crystal is coated with an anti-reflective coating on the inside enabling time visibility from all angles.
Dievas Avant Garde Vintage 6152BD comes with a choice of black or red 6mm thick Dievas Premium handmade calf hide strap with a PACVD-DLC knife edge buckle with MOD Dep. engraving on the underside.
All packed in a Dievas serial numbered wooden box lined with leather. Also included is an extra strap and screwdriver. Complete with papers, hang tag and 1 year Dievas international guarantee.
