This elementary philosophy is the basic idea behind the Botta Design single-hand UNO Automatic watch with its astonishingly simple approach to time-keeping: the UNO Automatic makes do with just one hand – the hour hand. This moves just like the hour hand of any normal watch with several hands – in other words, every 12 hours it completes one full rotation.

The simplified dial means that the single-hand watch provides an approximate idea of the current time at a glance (e.g. shortly before three o'clock). If a more precise indication of the time is required, the five-minute gradations on the UNO Automatic allow you to work out the exact time, accurate to more or less one minute, by judging the position of the hand in between two of the five-minute lines. The great strength of the UNO Automatic, however, lies in everyday time-keeping and the fact that the time of day is shown "at a glance" by an analogue and graphic representation of the day.

The Botta Design UNO Automatic features a Swiss Made ETA2824-2 mechanical automatic movement. The water blue display back exudes a sense of serenity while you view the movement at work.

The 42mm 316L stainless steel case is satin brushed on the bezel and side of the case. With a flat sapphire crystal on the front means the watch is scratch resistant. The uniquely designed case has lugs hidden on the underside of the case. This helps in wearing comfort on this nicely sized 42mm case. This watch feels at home on both small and big wrists. This watch literally wraps around the wearer's wrist like a glove.

The UNO Automatic comes with a black genuine vegetable tan leather strap.
