Botta Design watches are characterized by a concentration on the bare essentials. They deliberately reject faddish attributes and formalistic decoration. The salient design features are functional clarity and a high degree of technical aesthetic which is also expressed in the choice of materials and the precision of the workmanship.
We believe that wristwatches should accompany their wearer over many years, and must continue to impress in terms of function and appearance even years down the line. In this sense, our standards are no different to those of the classic watchmaker brands. However, while these manufacturers base their design standards primarily on a historical repertoire of form, Botta Design upholds a modern attitude to design.
Botta Design uses only movements made by the renowned Swiss brands ETA and Ronda. The cases are manufactured to our own designs by a specialist firm in the German town of Pforzheim, while assembly takes place in a factory in the Black Forest. All our watches undergo dual testing before they leave the factory. Our older models also profit from the continuous product enhancement process at Botta Design, their details being regularly improved and upgraded in quality. For service, warranty claims and repairs, our customers are served by a specialist firm which offers competitive rates and professionally ensures that the quality of Botta watches is maintained for many years.
Botta wristwatches have already received 20 renowned design awards, both in Germany and abroad. Some of them are exhibited in the Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design and the Museum für angewandte Kunst (Museum of Applied Art) in Frankfurt.
